Mr. Glen Burgess

Glen is the Inaugural Director of the Monash Snoring and Sleep Apnoea Unit, Australia’s first multidisciplinary snoring and sleep apnoea unit. He has a special interest in upper airway surgery, diagnosis and management of complex snoring and sleep apnoea problems. He is a lecturer at Monash University in the Department of Surgery and a Senior Visiting Medical Officer at Monash Health. He gained his fellowship in Ear Nose & Throat and Head and Neck Surgery in 2000 and following this he undertook further specific training in the United Kingdom. He completed consecutive fellowships in Head and Neck Surgery at St George’s Hospital, London and Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham. He has also studied in Facial Plastic Surgery, Rhinoplasty and Rhinology.

His practice includes adult and paediatric ENT and Head and Neck Surgery. He has a special interest in snoring and sleep apnoea management and is involved in several studies assessing sleep apnoea management and treatment. His main rooms are located at the Monash Specialist Centre in Clayton, and he also consults at the Monash Snoring and Sleep Apnoea clinic.
